Kent County Council - Temporary Road Closure & Temporary Speed Restriction - Lenham Road, Headcorn - 7th July 2025 (Maidstone District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to restrict part of Lenham Road, Headcorn, from 7th July 2025 with estimated completion by 11th July 2025.

Lenham Road, Headcorn will be closed between the junctions of Hop Pocket Way and Baker Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Lenham Road, Headcorn will have a temporary speed restriction of 30mph imposed between the junctions of Hop Pocket Way and Baker Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road, Lenham Road, Chartway Street, A274 North Street, A274 Sutton Valence Hill, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Mill Bank, Kings Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

These restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow drainage repairs to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
