Community Breakfast

We have now been doing the Community Breakfast for over 3 years, 42 breakfasts and counting! They have gone from strength to strength thanks to our loyal customers and also to those who just come along when they can. I don’t know what makes it a success but I am glad and thankful that it is.  The breakfasts are held on the third Saturday of every month at Ulcombe Village Hall between 9am and 11.15am.

We have now raised to date £7120 so thank you. £3560 has gone to the day to day running of our beautiful Church and £3560 has gone into the community pot some of which has gone to the school for board games, some to the start up of the ‘Drop In’ some went to the funding of last years village event on the field and a big chunk has gone to the village hall for various things. One of the breakfasts was specifically for raising money to go to the Turkish earthquake appeal. We donated £400, £224 from the breakfast and the rest was from donations given on the day.
